Grip Studs® durable tire studs help prevent slippage from ice and snow all season long, allowing you to safely and efficiently manage even the iciest terrain. The model 4910 is commonly used on the steering axles of compact tractors, with shorter tread lugs than the rear tires and in heavy truck tires. These hefty tire studs with their unique wide–auger design install easily with a cordless drill and stay put like no other screw–in studs on the market. Their solid tungsten carbide core has grabbing power that delivers traction when you need it – no more broken chains! Grip Studs® varied thread depths and tip lengths fit a wide range of rubber tires and tracks for reliable traction on ice, snow, mud or frozen pavement. Grip Studs® can be removed at season’s end if desired, however we recommend leaving them in if possible for best results.  Installation tool model #4910 is required to install these studs.  So, why chain up when you can add Grip Studs?  Note: check with your state DOT for stud regulations.  We include one installation tool with each 100 and 150 pack.
